Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 : Validity of orders placed on www.cherie-sheriff.com

The consumer acknowledges being fully informed that their agreement to these Terms and Conditions does not require a handwritten signature. Any order validated by the consumer on the website www.cherie-sheriff.com implies prior acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Any contrary condition set by the buyer shall therefore, in the absence of express acceptance, be unenforceable against the seller regardless of when it may have been brought to the seller’s attention. The fact that the seller does not rely at a given time on any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of the right to rely on it later.
The consumer declares that they have full legal capacity to enter into obligations under these Terms and Conditions. The content may be corrected at any time without notice. The applicable terms shall then be those in force on the website at the time the order is validated by the consumer. As we cannot guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information on the website, our liability may not be incurred, in particular in the event of:
- any imprecision, inaccuracy or omission relating to information available on the website;
- any damage resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party leading to modification of the information made available on the website;
- and more generally, any direct or indirect damage, whatever its causes, origins, nature or consequences, resulting from access to the website by anyone, or inability to access it, use of the website and/or reliance placed on any information coming directly or indirectly from it.


These Terms and Conditions of Sale set out the entirety of the obligations and rights of both parties. Accordingly, the consumer is deemed to accept, without reservation, all provisions contained herein.

Article 3 : Quality charter and warranty

All our products are carefully selected to offer you the best possible quality.

Our jewellery, and in particular our bangles and Nepalese bracelets, are the result of meticulous artisanal craftsmanship carried out in our workshop. This approach gives each piece a unique and authentic character.

Due to this artisanal process, please take into account the following:

  • Size variations: A slight difference of a few millimetres may occur between bangles. These variations are not considered defects but reflect the handmade nature of the production.
  • Colour variations: Product colours, including materials or finishes, may vary slightly from one production batch to another. These nuances are inherent to the materials used and artisanal techniques and do not affect product quality.

We do everything possible to ensure that product photos on the website are as accurate as possible, but we cannot guarantee a perfect match with the item received, given the characteristics mentioned above.

Durability and natural ageing of jewellery

Materials may evolve over time:

  • Oxidation of the brass connector
  • Colour changes, lightening or patina
  • Wear and tear related to daily use
  • Slight stiffening, shrinkage or deformation of the tube over time

These effects are linked to the natural ageing of the jewellery and to conditions of use (water, heat, perspiration, perfume, impacts, skin pH, etc.). They do not constitute a manufacturing defect.

Specific characteristics and tolerances of the products

Shape of the products

Buddhist bangles are flexible and may undergo slight deformation during transport. A slight oval shape or deformation upon receipt does not constitute a defect or lack of conformity.

The customer can easily restore the original round shape by gently handling the bangle, wearing it, or briefly exposing it to a source of heat (warm water or warm air).

Size tolerance

The Buddhist bangles offered on the website are handcrafted. As such, slight variations in size may occur between items, even within the same size category.

These variations may be more noticeable on certain models, particularly braided bangles, due to differences in the tightness of the braiding depending on the artisan.

These differences cannot be considered as defects or lack of conformity.

Color evolution

Buddhist bangles may undergo slight changes in color over time, particularly when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light.

Each pigment reacts differently to light, and some colors, especially bright or pastel tones, may become slightly lighter over time.

To preserve the intensity of the colors, it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or UV rays.

This natural evolution does not constitute a defect or a product fault.

Warranty

Chérie Sheriff products benefit from the 2-year legal conformity warranty, applicable only in the event of a manufacturing defect or non-conformity existing at the time of delivery.

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear,
  • oxidation, patina or colour changes,
  • deformation, stiffening or shrinkage of the bangles,
  • or any damage related to use, environment or inappropriate handling.

 

Article 4 : Product availability

Our product offers on the website cherie-sheriff.com are valid while stocks last. In the event that a product becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, we undertake to inform you within 7 days and to indicate the expected waiting time to receive the product. Where applicable, you may request cancellation or replacement of a product by sending us a message via the contact form.
All product offers on the website are intended for a selection of countries worldwide. Our promotional offers are valid only for the stated period of validity and while stocks last. Prices shown on this website are in Euros, inclusive of all taxes, excluding shipping/delivery fees, and may change during the year; products are invoiced at the prices in force when the order is processed by Cherie SHERIFF. Our products remain our sole property until full payment has been received.

Article 4 bis : Pre-order products

Some products offered on www.cherie-sheriff.com may be available for pre-order. Pre-order allows the buyer to reserve a product that is not yet in stock at the time the order is validated.

A. Pre-order terms
- Payment for a pre-order product is made in full at the time of the order, like any other product sold on the website.
- Validation of a pre-order constitutes acceptance of the specific delivery times indicated on the product page at the time of purchase.

B. Delivery times
- Delivery times indicated for pre-orders are provided for information purposes only and may vary depending on production or supply.
- In the event of a delay exceeding thirty (30) days beyond the initially announced timeframe, the buyer may request cancellation of the pre-order and obtain a full refund of the amounts paid.

C. Combined shipping
- If an order contains both in-stock products and pre-order products, the entire order will be shipped in a single parcel once all items are available, unless the buyer expressly indicates otherwise. Additional shipping costs may then apply if the buyer requests separate shipments.

D. Right of withdrawal
- In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer benefits from a right of withdrawal starting from receipt of the pre-ordered product, under the same conditions as for in-stock products. Any request for cancellation or refund must be submitted via our contact form.

Article 5 : Validity of the order

When your order is confirmed by email, you declare that you accept its content as well as these Terms and Conditions of Sale in full and without reservation. Your order will then be processed so that you can receive your parcel. You may print your order confirmation. Once your order is recorded, an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to your email address. This acknowledgement will specify the exact amount to be billed and the delivery terms for your order. It constitutes acceptance of your order and validates the transaction. We nevertheless reserve the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to payment of a previous order.

 

Article 6 : Payment terms

Payment for purchases on the website is made exclusively in Euros and may be completed either by credit/debit card or via PayPal. In the case of payment by card, payment is made online when placing the order and is fully secure. The entire transaction is encrypted and routed to a bank validation server using SSL (Secure Socket Layer). You can therefore shop securely.

 

Article 7 : Delivery terms

Products may be delivered to a selection of countries worldwide, to the address of your choice, in accordance with the information you provide. Cherie SHERIFF declines all liability in the event of delay or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery address details provided by you. Delivery typically takes 4 to 10 days from validation of your order by Cherie SHERIFF, in the case of card or PayPal payment.

Chérie SHERIFF declines all liability in the event of delay or non-delivery due to the LA POSTE delivery service. In the event of an issue with your "Lettre Suivie" delivery, a claim must be filed by both parties with La Poste customer service (3631). No compensation may be granted in the event of loss or theft attributable to the delivery service.
To better secure your order and improve reliability, you may choose Colissimo delivery with signature upon receipt.

A. Delivery by Tracked Letter (NO INSURANCE)

When you choose Tracked Letter as your delivery method, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions:

  • No insurance: Tracked Letter does not include any insurance against loss, theft or damage. Therefore, in the event of a delivery issue (including mailbox theft, loss or damage), no compensation may be claimed from our company.

  • Release of liability: Our company declines all liability for risks related to delivery into your mailbox. The risk of loss or theft is transferred to the buyer as soon as La Poste tracking indicates delivery or placement in the mailbox.

B. Colissimo delivery with signature

When you choose Colissimo with signature, the following conditions apply:

  • Hand delivery: This method requires the recipient’s signature upon receipt. This signature serves as proof of proper delivery.

  • Claims procedure: In the event of a delivery issue (parcel not received, damaged, etc.), the mandatory signature allows a claim to be opened with La Poste. We will assist you in this process to obtain a solution.

C. Choice of delivery method

By accepting these Terms and Conditions of Sale, the buyer acknowledges having been informed of the specific risks associated with Tracked Letter delivery and expressly assumes this choice when placing the order. In case of doubt, delivery with signature is recommended.

D. Delivery of pre-order products

- Delivery times for pre-order products are different from standard delivery times and are indicated on the product page at the time of purchase.
- These times are provided for information purposes only and may vary depending on production or supply.
- If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order products, shipping will be made in a single parcel once all items are available, unless the buyer expressly requests otherwise (additional shipping costs may then apply).
- In the event of a delay exceeding thirty (30) days beyond the initially announced timeframe, the buyer may request cancellation of the pre-order and obtain a full refund of the amounts paid.

 

Article 8 : Returns

Products purchased during sale periods are neither returned nor exchanged.

If the product does not match your expectations, you may return it in its original pouch, in perfect condition, within 30 days of receipt, to:

You may choose either a store credit or a refund. This wills will be processed within 30 days following receipt of your request.
If you do not specify your preference in your return letter, a store credit will be issued. It will be valid for 1 year.

Return shipping costs, as well as risks related to your return (insured or not), are the customer’s responsibility.

Orders placed using a store credit cannot be refunded. In this case, a new store credit will be offered.

Despite the care taken by Cherie SHERIFF in preparing parcels, a product may occasionally have a defect or be faulty. Therefore, upon receipt of your order, it is your responsibility to check the conformity of the products received. Any defect relating to delivery (missing or broken product, damaged parcel) must be reported on the day of receipt, or at the latest on the next working day, to Cherie SHERIFF Customer Service, by post to Cherie SHERIFF - Versant du Moulin, 31290 Montclar-Lauragais, or via the contact form. Any claim made after this time will be rejected and Cherie SHERIFF will be released from any liability. Cherie SHERIFF reserves the right to request the return of the defective product. If all the above conditions are met, Cherie SHERIFF will issue a store credit for the amount of the defective product(s) (subject to the validity of the request).

 

Article 9 : Liability

The products offered comply with current French legislation. Photographs and texts illustrating the products are not contractual. Consequently, Cherie SHERIFF cannot be held liable in the event of an error in any of these photographs or texts. Cherie SHERIFF shall not be held liable for non-performance of the contract in the event of out-of-stock or product unavailability, force majeure, disruption or total/partial strikes, notably of postal services, transport and/or communications.
Cherie SHERIFF shall not incur any liability for any indirect damage resulting from these Terms and Conditions, including operating loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, any damage whatsoever or costs.
Hyperlinks may lead to websites other than this one; Cherie SHERIFF declines all liability if the content of those websites infringes applicable legal or regulatory provisions.

 

Article 10 : Intellectual property

All elements, trademarks, designs, models, logos, music, graphics, etc. appearing on www.cherie-sheriff.com are the exclusive property of Cherie SHERIFF or its suppliers, who grant no license or any other right except the right to consult the website. Reproduction or use of all or part of these elements is permitted only for information purposes for personal and private use; any reproduction and any use of copies made for other purposes are expressly prohibited. Any other use constitutes infringement and is punishable under intellectual property laws.

 

Article 11 : Data protection

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning you. You may also be informed of our offers by telephone, post or email. If you do not wish this, simply notify us via the contact form, stating your last name, first name, address and, where applicable, your customer number.

 

Article 12 : Headings

In the event of any difficulty of interpretation between any of the headings and any clause, the headings shall be deemed non-existent.

 

Article 13 : Entire agreement

These Terms and Conditions of Sale and the order summary form a contractual whole and constitute the entire contractual relationship between the parties. In the event of any contradiction, these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall prevail.

 

Article 14 : Applicable law - competent courts

This contract is governed by French law. The language of this contract is French. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

Article 15 : Promotional offers and commercial benefits

Promotional offers, commercial benefits, gifts, discounts or free items offered by Chérie Sheriff are valid only under the conditions specified when they are communicated (website, newsletter, social media or any other medium).

1. Validity period
Each promotional offer is strictly limited to the dates and periods indicated.
No extension may be granted after the end date of the offer, for any reason whatsoever.

2. While stocks last
Promotional offers are available while stocks last.
In the event of a stock-out, the offer will automatically end.

3. Eligibility conditions
Offers are valid only if the eligibility conditions are met, including:

  • minimum purchase amount,
  • entry of a promotional code,
  • specific selection of products or colours,
  • effective addition of eligible items to the cart.

Any order that does not meet these conditions cannot benefit from the offer, even in the event of a customer misinterpretation.

4. Non-combinable
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be combined with one another, nor with any other codes, discounts or current benefits.

5. Modification or cancellation of an offer
Chérie Sheriff reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel any promotional offer at any time, in particular in the event of force majeure, an obvious error or a technical issue, without incurring liability.

6. Returns and refunds
In the event of a full or partial return of an order that benefited from a promotional offer:

  • the free item(s) must also be returned,
  • failing this, their value may be deducted from the refund.

7. Current offer
Offer valid from 7 to 8 February 2026 inclusive: a free ring from €30 purchase or a free bracelet from €50 purchase, under the conditions specified in the offer (products, colours, minimum purchase amount, promo code, etc.).
Offer valid while stocks last.
In the event of a stock-out, no replacement product will be offered.
Offer cannot be combined and is valid only during the stated period.

 

Product added to wishlist
